Councilmember Scott Moore
Councilmember Scott Moore is serving his first term as a member of Town Council.
Councilmember Moore was elected in 2016 to serve on the Town of Paradise Valley Council. He was appointed by the Mayor and his fellow Council Members to serve as a voting member on the Experience Scottsdale Board of Directors and as Council liaison for the Paradise Valley Veterans Appreciation Vintage Car Show Committee. Councilmember Moore has served for several years on various boards and commissions with the Town, including as a member of the Board of Adjustments and later appointed to the Planning Commission and as a serving member on the Hillside Building Committee. He is the former Council liaison for the Arts Advisory Committee.
Councilmember Moore is Executive Vice President for a large real estate investment and development company that has a portfolio of real estate throughout the United States. Vice Mayor Moore has over 32 years of experience in acquisitions, zoning entitlements, private and municipal infrastructure development, including commercial, industrial and residential building. He is currently licensed as a General Commercial and General Residential contractor and holds an Arizona Department of Real Estate license.
Councilmember Moore is a member of the American Planning Association and formally a member of the Urban Land Institute and Arizona Homebuilders Association. His community service also includes over a decade of donating his time and resources towards private and charitable organizations that council and help troubled teens.
As a second generation native Arizonian, Councilmember Moore has three children who were raised in Scottsdale and called Paradise Valley home.
