Councilmember Scott Moore
Council Member Scott Moore has volunteered for Paradise Valley for several years on various boards and commissions and was elected in 2016 to serve on the Town Council. He was nominated by the Mayor with unanimous support from his fellow Council Members to serve as your Vice Mayor in 2019 and was a voting member on the Experience Scottsdale Board of Directors. He previously served as Council liaison for the Paradise Valley Arts Board, as well. He currently serves as Council liaison for the Paradise Valley HOA Forum and as a member of the Veterans Appreciation Vintage Car Show Committee. Prior to his election win in 2016 Council Member Moore served on the Board of Adjustments, the Planning Commission, and the Hillside Building Committee.
An executive vice president for a large real estate investment and development company that has a portfolio of real estate throughout the United States, Council Member Moore has over 33 years of experience in acquisitions, zoning entitlements, civil engineering, private and municipal infrastructure development, including commercial, industrial and residential building. He is currently licensed as a General Commercial and General Residential contractor and holds an Arizona Department of Real Estate license.
Council Member Moore is a member of the American Planning Association and formerly a member of the Urban Land Institute and Arizona Homebuilders Association. His community service also includes over a decade of donating his time and resources towards private and charitable organizations that counsel and help troubled teens.
As a second-generation native Arizonian, Council Member Moore has three children who were raised in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.
