The Town Attorney is the legal adviser to the Town Council, Town Manager, and all Town departments. The Town Attorney:
- Represents the Town in all legal proceedings
- Reviews all ordinances, resolutions, and contracts
- Prepares legal opinions
- Handles the prosecution of all violations of Town codes and misdemeanor violations of State law within the Town
- Handles all appeals from the Town's Municipal Court to Superior Court
