Town Manager Kevin Burke

Appointed in January 2015, Kevin Burke serves as the Town Manager.  In his functions as Town Manager, Kevin is the responsible leadership and administrative head of Town employees.

Town Manager Kevin Burke was recently acknowledged by the International Association of City/County Managers for his 25 years of dedicated service to the profession.  Prior to joining the team at Paradise Valley, Kevin served as City Manager of Flagstaff, Arizona from 2008 to 2015.  During his 25 year career, Kevin has served in City Management roles for Boulder, CO, Littleton, CO, Wellington, CO and West Tawakoni, TX.

Town Manager Burke earned his Master of Public Administration from Kansas University, and his Bachelors in Economics and Political Science from the University of Colorado - Boulder.  He is active in many committees and boards, including Maricopa Association of Governments, Arizona League of Cities and Towns, Arizona City/County Managers Association, and the International City/County Managers Association.

Deputy Town Manager Dawn Marie Buckland

Deputy Town Manager Dawn Marie Buckland

Dawn Marie Buckland joined the Town of Paradise Valley in 2015 and serves as the Deputy Town Manager.  As Deputy Town Manager, Dawn Marie is responsible for multiple departments and programs, including Intergovernmental Affairs, Information Technology, Public Works, and Community Development.

Deputy Town Manager Buckland joined municipal government after serving nine years in the United States Air Force.  Prior to joining the team at Paradise Valley, Dawn Marie served various program management capacities for Chandler, Gilbert, and Peoria.

Deputy Town Manager Buckland earned her Master's in Administration from Northern Arizona State University, and her Bachelor's in Business and Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.  She is also a Certified Public Manager from Arizona State University.  Dawn Marie serves on a national level for both the Government Finance Officers Association and the International City/County Management Association.
